Reporting Requirements for Trusts

CRA has updated its website to indicate that the proposed beneficial ownership reporting requirements for trusts will not be part of the 2021 T3 income tax return.  CRA will continue to administer T3 income tax returns under the enacted existing rules, the proposed beneficial reporting and filing requirements will not be administered by CRA until the supporting legislation receives Royal Assent.
