Robert Finnigan is a tax partner who is passionate about our clients’ success and works diligently to build long-lasting trusting relationships.

A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Robert draws on over 23 years of public practice experience at KMSS as well as international accounting firms. Robert advises businesses engaged in oil and gas exploration and production, energy services, power generation, manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and technology.

Robert enjoys advising entrepreneurs on a broad range of taxation matters including developing strategies to minimizing income tax, consulting on and implementing reorganizations to meet business and family objectives, structuring business acquisitions and sales, completing complex compliance, assisting cross border planning, and helping clients communicate with the tax authorities.

Away from the office, during the summer, Robert can be found on the golf course, out on the lake fishing or relaxing around the campfire with his family, and at the rink during the winter months.
