Our client has an opportunity for a full-time, mature receptionist in its NE Calgary location. This position reports to the Managing Director and for accounting related tasks, to the Accounting Supervisor. The receptionist will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including greeting clients and suppliers and providing the first and most important impression of the organization.

You will possess a minimum of two years comparable experience and have a junior to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products. You will be familiar using a variety of office equipment including photocopiers, printers, and postal machinery, be proficient at multi-tasking, and have exceptionally accurate data entry skills. You will also have the ability to demonstrate a warm, pleasant, friendly disposition. You will have effective communication skills and be a dedicated team player. You will be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and appreciate the importance of using discretion in a professional, mature manner.
As the Receptionist, you will work closely with the team and provide support to all members of the organization. The ideal candidate will be attentive to details, have strong organizational skills, be solutions focused and demonstrate a positive attitude. This role requires the ability to be accurate and a passion for delivering quality administrative support.
- Answers and redirects phone calls and greets and directs visitors appropriately;
- Accurately enters data of all rentals leaving and returning to the building;
- Receives couriers and prepares daily outgoing couriers by ensuring each one is labeled and setup for pick-up online;
- Upkeeps and organizes the reception area and meeting rooms;
- Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail and client communications;
- Coordinates food for lunch functions;
- Accepts credit and debit card payments; and,
- Other duties as assigned.
