To our valued clients,
As promised, we would like to take the opportunity to provide an update on the KMSS response to the COVID-19 crisis which continues to evolve on a daily basis.
As of today, our office is open to accept drop-offs, deliveries and mail. Relying on the best practices and advice provided by Alberta Health Services and focusing on the health and safety of our clients and employees, our entire team will not be facilitating face-to-face meetings and as of Thursday, March 19th, the majority of our team has transitioned to working remotely.
In the event that you have a meeting scheduled, we would ask that you contact the KMSS team member and reschedule the meeting to either telephone or video conference.
Our team continues to be working and available to service our clients. Please feel free to continue to email us or call. Our phone system is linked to our email system, and we will be doing our best to respond to your issues or concerns as soon as possible.
Please continue to send your personal and corporate tax information to us. While it is comforting that the Government of Canada has announced extensions to the personal tax filing deadline and numerous other deadlines, it is still very important to submit your information as soon as possible. This will ensure that we can meet these new deadlines, initiate any tax refunds, and apprise you of any balances owing for your future cash flow planning purposes.
We encourage our clients to forward information to us electronically, either via email or by using our portal using the following link: https://kmss.ca/resources/portal-login/
If you have any questions regarding the portal, we would ask that you email us at email@example.com and we will respond as soon as possible. As our office continues to be open, please feel free to continue to courier or mail information to us.
Despite the challenges that we are currently being faced with, we are here to help and continue to provide you with information and guidance in as timely a manner as possible. As our situation changes, we will continue to keep you informed.
We know that this is a very difficult time for our clients and we plan to provide some further information and assistance with respect to the financial aid and economic stimulus packages announced today by the Government of Canada, once more information becomes available.
