Kenway Mack Slusarchuk Stewart continues to closely monitor the ongoing developments associated with COVID-19. The well-being and safety of our clients, our team and our community continue to be a top priority.
We have taken a number of precautionary measures within our office to keep it a safe and sanitized work space and have been following recommendations from Alberta Health Services, Health Canada and the City of Calgary to mitigate the risks of COVID-19.
We would like to communicate the following important items:
1. At this stage, our offices continue to be open and are fully operational.
2. If you have an appointment in our office, and are not feeling well or have travelled outside of Canada within the past 14 days, or have interacted with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID 19, we would ask that you call our office to cancel and reschedule that appointment.
3. For other appointments or meetings and whenever possible, we would encourage meetings via telephone or video conference.
4. If you do wish to drop off information to our offices, we are open and would request that it be left at our reception desk and that meetings only be scheduled if necessary.
We appreciate the fact that we are in the midst of a very critical time in terms of filing deadlines. Although we are hopeful that Canada Revenue Agency will relax these deadlines, at this stage, we continue to be committed to meeting them. Where possible, we encourage our clients to submit documents, records and other information electronically. Our client portal is designed to provide a safe and easy way to transfer information. If you would like to discuss or if we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
KMSS continues to be dedicated to providing our clients with timely service. Should office closures become necessary, we have remote work policies in place to ensure that our dedicated team members can be accessible and responsive. We will continue to do our best to meet our clients’ needs.
